There are lots of things that I hope I can control in school - the weather however is not one of them and in the build up to Sports Day; I have sleepless nights about whether they will go ahead. I also want to ensure that you have enough notice if we have to cancel as I appreciate that many of you will take time off to attend. It is also important that the children enjoy the event as this is really about them.

Tomorrow’s EYFS and KS1 Sports day has been cancelled due to the forecast. Thunder and rain is predicted. They have been rescheduled for the following times:

EYFS: Monday 6th July at 9.15am KS1: Monday 6th July at 1.30pm

We are hoping that KS2 will go ahead next Wednesday as usual - fingers crossed for the weather. A decision will be made on Monday if it is looking uncertain. Fingers crossed too for the Gym Jam Jog on Friday!
