Lancashire Youth Games Success!

Following the Athletic’s team success at the Lytham Cluster, the team headed off to Stanley Park on Tuesday to compete on behalf of Fylde and Wyre at the Lancashire Youth Games. Teams from all over the boroughs of Lancashire met at Stanley Park to compete against each other in a range of sports. New for this year was angling…who knew this was a sport at schools.

Our team were fantastic on the day and competed with such a hunger to succeed. With the sunshine beating down on them, they took it in their stride. Stanley Park is some stadium and many a famous runner has run around that track.

Unfortunately, the children did not finish in the top three, but definitely placed high in the ranking against the other teams. Well done everyone, you performed out of your skin!
