“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” -George Bernard Shaw

It has been so lovely this week to see some games being played that have never aged! “What’s the Time Mr Wolf?” and “Stuck in the Mud,” have certainly brought back childhood memories for the team. We have had an early visit this year from Santa and his reindeers as the Keystage 1 children have imagined and played what it would be like to be racing around on Christmas Eve delivering all those presents! Tennis, stilts and hoola hoops were also featuring at lunchtime, along with other games with each classes playtime equipment. Such a basic item as a hoola hoop opens up so may imaginative possibilities!

Mr Nay has been busy this week delivering sporting activities to all year groups, from kicking skills to basketball.
