Today Year 5 spent almost the whole day reading, and reading! We tallied each page as we read and I can confirm that thousands of pages were devoured!! The children came in festive clothes or as book characters as you can see from our pictures! It is hard to know what to say to our very generous sponsors - we have raised over £520! This money will be the best Christmas present for the Headteacher of St. Peter’s who is in the process of buying text books for the school library!
