The wind blew and blew and yet this did not deter the children from having a wonderful week on the playground! Sporting activities took place when they could, coats were made into wind sails and the children played as if it were a week in summer! Having given the children the option of staying inside during the more blustery days, they all opted for the great outdoors and I must say the wind certainly fired up the neurons for the afternoon sessions.
I can’t believe another half term has come to an end, this year is certainly flying by! Each week, it is getting harder and harder to select both houses and children for their accomplishments during lunchtimes as they are all so kind and loving with one another.
Table of the Half Term: Keystage 1, Bamber and Keystage 2, Marsden. Congratulations and thank you to both houses for being excellent role models this term.
Role Models of the Week: Charlotte in Reception and Jay Y2, for Keystage 1. Keystage 2; Jack Y3 and Amber Y6. Congratulations and thank you children, you certainly brighten up lunchtime with your kindness and positivity.
Jaqui’s Marvelous Manners: Sophie and Emmanuel Y4. Well done to you both, you are always so polite, no matter where you are or what you are doing.
We hope you all have a wonderful half term and manage to have a well earned rest with lots of fun family time. Hopefully the weather will be a little kinder to us so that we can enjoy some February fresh air.
