Good morning Year 1, it’s Miss Lane here! It may seem a little strange this morning, as we’re not all together at school. But don’t worry, I will still be giving out learning (just like I do in class), every day and your brilliant brains will keep on growing. The only difference is, I will be doing it through the computer!

Every morning, at 8 o’clock, I will be posting learning challenges for you under ‘Home Learning’, these are tasks I want you to complete each day and use your home learning books to do so. The Class Tiger will also be setting you Tiger challenges, which he is bubbling with excitement about! For those of you who will be coming in to school, you will be completing the same activities, so don’t forget to bring your home learning books and a big smile.

Under the section ‘How to help your child’, I have made a list of ongoing activities and useful websites for you to use. I am aware that not everyone has access to a printer, however I have uploaded some activity booklets for you to use if you would like to. Children without access to a printer are also more than welcome to do these activities and record them in their home learning books. Please keep looking at this page; I will continuously update it.
