Good morning Year 5!
We seem to be getting into our stride. Thank you so much for embracing Purple Mash. Being able to see your work , mark it and give recorded feedback is just great! Everyday you are emailing through your 2Email on Purple Mash and this is allowing me to answer questions too- thank you. In addition, I am able to file away all your work into your own Purple Mash work folders - keeping a record of all our fabulous learning!!
Modifications to the daily blog:
Each morning I will place a morning board so that you can see the learning for the day! You can then organize your time so that all the learning is completed. I am marking your work the following morning - if you require more time please email and I’ll leave the 2do open for you.
Every Monday I will post an image of the weeks timetable so you can see were the learning is going - You will notice that we have maths and English everyday and at the moment we are focused on History (Crime and Punishment in Britain through the ages). Our other subjects: Art, French Music and PE are all timetabled as they are in class.

LESSON 1 MATHS - SQUARE NUMBERS!
Today we are going to investigate square numbers a little bit further. Listen carefully to the teaching and complete the work set in your 2dos!
LESSON 2 - ENGLISH GRAMMAR PARENTHESIS
Please click on the the first film this explains why Mrs Hotchkiss is talking to Miss Edmunson on the video and not Miss Coupe!!! I also explain how to take a photograph of your work and send it to me in peuple Mash so I can give feedback!!!
LESSON 3 - ART
Time to chill a little as we get lost in this weeks art task set by our very own creative Mrs Curtis! The faces last week were sooooo cool!
LESSON 4 MUSIC
DURATION LESSON 2: To understand the difference between on and off beats

Well done - see you all tomorrow!
