Welcome to Mrs Harrison this morning to lead us through our grammar work!!
LESSON 1- ENGLISH - Kensuke’s Kingdom
There are two films today just to keep you on your toes!!! Mrs Hotchkiss had to take a call in the middle and then again at the end so I had to split up this film! Sorry! When you have listened and followed or read independently (watch the first film to know where to read to - pop onto your Purple Mash to answer a few questions using evidence from the text!
MICHAEL’S SCHOOLWORK TASKS
Before you leap into these tasks make sure you have checked you emails and your ready to zoom with you “chill and colour group” at the right time!
TASK 1 - Read page 39 May 28 of ships log in the book (page 30 PDF)
TASK 2- Research the following creatures: Copperhead snake, wombat, possum and a cockatoo. Find out an interesting fact about each and draw them using your sketching skills (Mrs Curtis will want to see them)
TASK 3- Write a postcard for Australia to Eddie back home. Use the text to share what you did and how much you miss him. I have placed the postcard in your to-do’s.
TASK 4 - Maths puzzles - reading longitude and latitude!! What the film then click on the link to the map!!
