Good Morning Year 2,
All of your teachers here in Year 2 are very sad that we won’t all be together in class for the next couple of weeks. However, we are all still here to help you on your fabulous learning journey and will be posting learning each day for you to get stuck into and enjoy. We are currently in school planning out your online learning and will post tomorrow’s as soon as it’s ready.
In the meantime, here are a few activities to keep you going!
Maths
Click the link and watch the final video on the page ‘Make the same amount’. This links with the learning we have been doing in class and will revisit some skills to practise. The second button contains a few activities for you to have a go at. The answers are on the final page … but no peaking until you have had a go at the activities. Don’t worry if you don’t have a printer, you can draw out the images and make jottings on a piece of paper.
English
We started looking at our new bird topic yesterday. This will be changed slightly due to online learning, but it would be great if you could carry out some of your own research on different types of birds. The website below contains lots of facts and information about birds. See what new knowledge you can discover! If you fancy an extra challenge, I have set a 2Do on Purple Mash where you can draw a picture of your favourite bird and write your favourite fact.
