Good morning everyone.
Well done with your work yesterday. I really enjoyed looking at what you did.
I hope that you are ready for lots more exciting learning today. Our first session is a Zoom session with Mrs Lyons at 9:15am so make sure that you login using the details that I sent to your parents via email on Sunday evening. Remember to think about our Zoom rules and be respectful to others. (I know that you will - you were all super during Lockdown). Enjoy spending time with Mrs Lyons. I know that she is going to love teaching you all.
After the Zoom meeting you will be able to complete the lessons below. Please remember to complete your work on Purple Mash - I have set a 2Do for each lesson - and then make sure that you save your work and submit it so that I can see how you have done.
Maths
Watch the video below and learn how to tell the time at 5 minute intervals. There are some games to play and a 2Do to complete. Have fun. Don;t forget to see if you can tell the time throughout the day. Remember the more you practise, the better you get. Be a Sadie Spider!
English
Today we are going to use the poem to write a story. We have really studied the poem and know exactly what happens. We have investigated vocabulary and also looked at speech, complex sentences and other word work such as prepositions and adverbs. You are going to write your story creating word pictures for the reader using your wonderful description and showing off what you have learned. I know that you will be brilliant. Have fun.
Watch the video first and then write your story on the 2Do that I have set for you.
RE
In RE I would like you to think about how you can use your gifts to help others. Watch the little video and then complete the 2Do. When you have completed your learning task, spend some quiet time with Jesus talking to Him and sharing your thoughts with Him.
Have a lovely day.
Don’t forget to save and submit your work on Purple Mash. You can also send me any photos and I will put them together for a little video at the end of the week.
Take care and stay safe and keep smiling.
