Writing to Mark Menzie (MP) - last week during our class discussions we discovered that the British Government is blocking an agreement to temporarily waive intellectual property (IP) rights on COVID-19 vaccines. This means that poorer countries can’t make the vaccines in their own countries. Can you write a letter that asks him why? Can you explain to him why this is not right and finally can you persuade him to change his mind?
