What a wonderful week we have had! It has been so delightful to welcome the Reception children to the dining hall this week. They have settled in so beautifully and have already mastered the routine, we look forward to getting to know them over the coming weeks. I would like to thank all the children for making the Reception children feel so welcome.
Out on the playground, a plethora of games have been played. The trim trail has been in full use as children have swung like monkeys, scaled the A-frame as mountaineers and navigated the frame work like intrepid explorers! Football has been in full flow, tennis players fine tuning their skills and my, we have some huge hitters! Goals have been scored in basketball, it has been lovely to see the Year 4 children extending their P.E. lessons into lunchtimes, by practicing their dribbling skills.

With Autumn days now upon us, please can the children have their coats on a daily basis. Fresh air and a good run around with their friends, is so important after a morning of hard work and learning! If we have light rain, we will always endeavor to get the children outside. On days where the rain is heavier, we provide an array of activities in class. I am delighted to say, that next week I will be able to share your children’s lunchtime fun with you in the form of photos, so that you too , can witness those wonderful moments of pure joy!
