Where to begin?! Seeing your children grow this year, this is the greatest gift as a teacher. Thank you for putting your trust in us to not only teach, but to support, love and nurture your precious children. Any moments where we have faced a challenge, we have done so together, thank you for walking with us hand in hand. Our children have grown in such huge amounts, friendships have been strengthened, new friendships have formed, new talents have been unlocked, and a greater understanding of another has been achieved. The children have worked so hard within the classroom, filling their brains with new information and facts (our curious Clara Clownfish class). They have also grown as people, discovering more about themselves and their friends.
We’ve had the best final week together. We have watched our Year 6 friends perform their wonderful end of year play, walked to mass to celebrate Year 6 and our special Mrs Hodges, watched the Iron Giant to end our English topic, completed a partner research project in science, and finally today we have celebrated the end of another school year with a teachers panto and our final assembly. It has been all go right to the end! Thank you so much for your kind words and generous gifts. Our hearts are very full!
Certificates
The children chose this weeks certificate winners. They thought carefully about who had embraced their learning this year and had been all of the learning characters. They chose….
Rory, your classmates have voted you learner of the year. This is why…Rory because he is kind to me. Rory because he has taught me things that I didn’t know. Rory for always being kind and listening to the teachers. Rory because he is focused and kind. Well done Rory!
Rose, your classmates have voted you learner of the year. This is why…Rose because she is so kind. Rose because she has been kind and always cooperative in lessons. Rose because she always listens and does her work splendid. Rose because she focuses everyday. Rose because she is always focused. Well done Rose!
We wish you all the most wonderful summer’s, stay safe, have fun and enjoy making those memories. You are all in our hearts.
