Our Lytham Big Sing performance is now just under two weeks away! With practise well under way, here’s all the information you need to know:
The performance is taking place at 1pm on Tuesday 5th March. Tickets for parents and carers can be purchased by clicking the link below.
Due to rehearsals taking place in the morning, members of choir will need to be dropped off at Lowther Pavilion by 9:15am. Miss Drummond and Miss Woodend will be there to meet you in the foyer.
Children should be dressed smartly in their full school uniform and school shoes (no PE tracksuits please).
Children will need to bring a packed lunch, preferably in a plastic carrier bag, that can be disposed of after eating. I would recommend bringing a water bottle to drink throughout the day and then another to have with lunch.
Coats can be worn as there will be somewhere to put these when we arrive. Children can also bring a small backpack containing something to keep them occupied when we are not rehearsing, such as a reading book, colouring pages and pencils or a puzzle book. No electronics please and nothing with small pieces as they may become lost.
We have been told that the performance should finish between 2pm and 2:30pm. Your child will need to be collected at this time; children will not be returning to school. I am yet to know logistics of where parents will collect children from, but I’m sure the organisers will let us know on the day and a text will be sent out as soon as we know.
Please can all children also bring one summery item, either a cap, sunglasses or sunhat, to wear during one of the songs. These need to be brought on the day only and will return home with your child after the performance. Thank you.
Please do get in touch if you require any further information or have any questions.
