Recently we received some photographs and a letter of appreciation from St Peter's Uganda where they outlined how they are continuing to use the money we donated. Here are some excerpts from the letter we received which was headed 'Appreciation for funds raised for construction of eight stance pit latrine...On behalf of learners parents and board members, I hereby express our sincere gratitude to you for all the funds sent to St.Peter's School which has facilitated the construction of a Pit Latrine up to completion. This has enabled us to improve on sanitation which has been a challenge for a number of years. Kindly receive photos of the work completed as attached. We are proud of you and you are always in our prayers. May the good Lord reward you abundantly for this continued funding'. The letter was signed, as usual, by Charles Weleba.
Our next initiative is for Mrs. Hotchkiss to organise her Year 5 class with penpals from St. Peter's in Bukhaukha, Uganda. Watch this space!
