“Children have always learned and created places for themselves through play.” ~ Donna R. Barnes

We hope you all had a lovely rest over the half term and managed to make some wonderful memories with your children, despite the awful weather. Very much like last week, the weather has been somewhat against us at lunch time, although to watch the children laugh and play, you would think it was still summer! It never ceases to amaze me how the children never seem to feel the cold, mind plying in the rain or battle against a strong wind. It is true to say that they are fully engrossed in the here and now whilst playing and getting lost in their playtime fun. Cone shops and fitness classes, hoopla and “TIG,” are but a few of the games being played on the playground this week. Growth spurts with stilts, hopscotch, mirror me and D to D, have also kept the children busy!

Mr Nay is continuing to focus on kicking skills and dodging with an array of activities at the childrens disposal to fine tune their existing techniques. He aims to continue these and introduce new sporting opportunities as the weeks progress.
