Today’s specific activities:
1. Aliens Love Underpants by Claire Freedman
Watch and enjoy the story Aliens Love Underpants
Discuss the story with your grown up:
What did the aliens see in the story?
Return to the story Aliens Love Underpants again and pause the film on each page, describe what you can see on each page. Use the sentence starter “I can see…”
Write sentences for your favourite images using the sentence starter, “I can see… .”
Look at the image 2:20 mins from the clip above.
Which are your favourite underpants and why? Now say and write a sentence using the image to support ideas, e.g.” My favourite underpants are … “
Remember to use your phonics carefully to help you sound out and spell words.

White Rose: Please go onto the White Rose website and begin on Summer term Week 7 (8th June)
Watch the short video/ presentation and have a go at the activities.
3. RE:
Today I would like you to think about the Sign of the Cross.
It is a special sign which we make when we start and finish our prayers and it is a sign we make when we go into Church. There is a special prayer which we say when we make the Sign of the Cross and it reminds us that we are part of God’s family. We also have another prayer which we sometimes say in school which also reminds us of this. Can you practise this prayer?
From my head to my heart
From one shoulder to the other
I belong to you God my Father.
Can you match the words to the pictures for making the sign of the cross?
Can you practise making the Sign of the Cross and saying the prayers.?
I hope that you have a lovely day!
Take care and stay safe,
Miss Brisco
Don’t forget to send photos of your learning to me and I will share them at the end of the week.
