TASK 2 - GRATITUDE - SAYING THANK YOU
In school we strive to acquire spiritual virtues. These virtues help us to be more and more like Jesus. We have been inspired by St. Ignatius , who was a great spiritual teacher, to think deeply about how we think and feel. One of his virtues is gratitude. He wants us to come to a place of service to other not because we should but because we are soooo grateful to have the opportunity to love. Understanding all the gifts we have been given is a great start when we say thank you everyday we begin to see how blessed we are. Today I would like you to write a Gratitude Prayer. I have made a short film to help you.
TASK 3 - MATHS CO_ORDINATES
Now there is a rumour around school that Mrs Hotchkiss’ favourite subject is maths!! Well it is true I LOVE maths. I also love all the other subjects too, but maths does have a special place in my heart! I have decided to jump into Year 5 co-ordinates with you! These are the Year 5 lessons but I think it is a good place to start together!! Let’s get cracking - roll the film!!! For those who can print out the sheets go ahead if not freeze the lesson to work out the co-ordinates on screen!
