'You are precious in my eyes'

Today has been beautiful, nothing short of beautiful. The children have spent a day in prayer and reflection, considering what our interpretation of ‘You are precious in my eyes really is.’

At 11am this morning, Father Peter joined us outside the chapel to spend a period of time in reflection. We prayed for our school community, our future journey and our families. The children all have a copy of the booklet from today and I have also attached it here for you to have your own copy.

Once back in class, the children were then presented with their memory booklets and bibles. This is something that we always give our children as a reminder of Christ being central to them. It is ironic that this year’s bibles are rainbow!

Art has been a favourite past time for the children during their time at Our Ladys so we have got the water colours out today and created our own interpretations of our eye…what do we really view as being precious?

We then had a lovely lunch outside having a picnic together. This was such a lovely time to celebrate together as one big class.

As we enter our final day together tomorrow, the children need to bring in their white polo shirt to get signed by their classmates and their talent show pieces.

I am looking forward to spending one final day together.

Goodnight and God Bless
