With bubbles of children and staff learning their new routines on Tuesday, we were like an oiled machine by Wednesday, we have adapted so quickly to our new ‘normal’.
In Art…
Year Two had Art in their classroom, but seeing how fantastic they were with social distancing and great hygiene practice, as from next week, I’m so happy to announce that KS1 will be coming back to the Create room for their ART lessons. I just know the children will be happy about that too. Year one have yet to use the Create room as in Reception I used to visit them. I’m looking forward to welcoming them on Tuesday.
Year two, four, five and six all had art this week and as we got to grips with our new routines, we took a look at the story ‘The Dot’ by Peter H Reynolds. A charming tale of a girl who thought she couldn’t draw, we then went on to have a go at our own dots, these will make a wonderful display outside the staff room and in the Create room.
Next week all classes will return to our first art topic of the year ‘Drawing’, I can’t wait!
Have a wonderful weekend, hopefully the sun will shine for us.
God bless
Mrs Curtis
