LESSON 1 - MATHS MULTIPLICATION VARIED FLUENCY
Let’s reflect on long multiplication so far. We need to practice this strategy and apply it to puzzles and problems too. Now take care as my Purple Mash has lots of sheets (keep scrolling) there is not a lot to do on each but there is some up loading and typing to complete. Keep thinking deeply!
LESSON 2 ENGLISH WRITING THE OPENING OF YOUR NEWSPAPER ARTICLE
Today we have some modelled writing to explore before we write our own headline and opening paragraph for the story we investigated yesterday! Get ready to pull your reader in! I have two films the first is the warm and is only 5 mins long - Mrs Harrison needed me after school so she makes a lovely appearance at the end - then the second film is the rest of the lesson!! You have a warm up in Purple Mash the Newspaper template and the success criteria sheet.
LESSON 3 - PE - Hope you can get outside today!!!
I have placed PE third today, although it will be last in school. That is because the children at home will need to move after all their Maths and English! I hope you are managing to get outside in the little sunshine we have ! PE is moving to Wednesdays and Thursday from next week. Which helps at school as Miss Coupe learns from Mrs Harrison and we get to move more at home. This week Mrs Gregan has set you a fun scavenger hunt challenge. I am hopeful that you can do this challenge outside on a walk, scooter or bike ride. If not maybe chase around the house to find the items (time yourself) and then race to beat your time as you put them back.
Please make sure you are moving with family - if not have a chat with your parents.
