Good morning Year 1! After looking at today’s learning as a ‘whole’, I feel that the learning may take the children longer than normal. I would like the children to prioritise their English learning today. If after completing their english, they are not in the right mindset to take on their maths lesson - that is absolutely fine! Tomorrow we will have a ‘practise’ maths lesson, where there won’t be a recorded lesson - but instead some challenges to consolidate today’s learning. Therefore, if you don’t get round to maths today, you can complete today’s lesson tomorrow. If you do get it all done (WOW), there will be some maths challenges to keep you busy. I hope that makes sense and makes today’s learning more manageable.
