The sun has welcomed us back to school beautifully this week and we are all so pleased to be back and busy! We have noticed the children have returned to school in a very mature way and are ready to grow their brains. We are a most definitely a class full of Sadie spiders this week, showing resilience and determination throughout our learning.
The children have impressed us in RWI lessons and with their reading. We are improving our reading by fredding in our heads and holding the sentence we want to write. The next challenge for many of us is using all our phonics knowledge when writing independently. Remember…If in doubt, Fred it out!
We shared the wonderful story of The Resurrection this week and the children were overjoyed to hear the good news. Jesus even got a huge cheer as he appeared on the screen and we realised why the angel, Peter and Mary were all smiling!

Louie is a Co-operative Roger Robin - For helping and supporting your friends around the classroom. We have been impressed to see you being cooperative and enthusiastic during provision and other activities this week. Well done Louie!
Ava is a Focused Cooper Crab - For concentrating really well during Read Write Inc. We are so impressed with your determination to use the new skills you have learnt to focus and finish a task without getting distracted. You have also been caring towards others this week. Well done Ava!
Important Notices
Labels on all belongings - Please, please, please can you label all items of clothing, with the warm weather jumpers are being removed and we are wasting a lot of time reuniting jumpers and cardigans with their owners!
Weather appropriate clothing - If it is going to be hot day, please ensure that your child applies sun cream before school. Sun hats can also be worn, but no sunglasses please.
