"Play is the beginning of knowledge"- George Dorsey

The children’s knowledge has been brimming over into the dining hall and onto the playground, this week. Year 5 has been sharing a few moments reading time with Year 3 in the hall. It is a joy to witness the older children taking their reading skills to another level by modeling reading. The Year 6 children continue to shine, as they spend time with Year 2 and Reception. The kindness and love they show for the younger children is inspiring to us all. Thank you Year 6 for being such outstanding rolemodels and leaders of the school. Year 4 continue to share their sporting knowledge with the Year 1 children, bringing skills learnt in P E onto the playground at lunch. Mr Nay and the staff have spotted some budding footballers, atheletes, netballers and tennis players. The interactions between the older and younger members of our school is indeed, humbling to see and we are privileged to be part of Our Lady’s Family.

We hope you have a lovely weekend.

God Bless
