With the exciting news that ALL children will be welcomed back to school on March 8th, we definitely have a spring in our step as we prepare to have our school family back together again.
Until then in ART…
I hope you all had a lovely time over the half term holiday, the weather wasn’t great but the lighter days are very welcomed.
My highlight of remote learning this week is seeing how engaged you all are in you art tasks. The home learners in year three made me really smile as they created their own junk models of The Iron Man, a book they read in class last half term, Max even created his on Minecraft, very impressive. Evan and Owen had the biggest box ever to make their creation, much fun was had.
My highlight of school learning was tie-dyeing t. shirts with year four, Saul was so excited all day to get going, we managed all the tie and will do the dying next week.
Take a look at a few of my favorites from the week.
One more week of home learning and we can all be back together again.
Can I please ask that ALL children from year one through to year six, all have an old, large t-shirt in school for their art lessons, from Monday 8th March, as we head into painting topics for all classes except year four who have textiles, which is equally as messy. Thank you in advance.
Have a lovely weekend, bring on the sunshine.
Stay safe
God bless
Mrs Curtis
