And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. Kahlil Gibran

The wind has blown, the rain has fallen, the sun has shone and through it all the children have laughed and played! There is nothing so delightful than to witness the children just be, whatever the weather. Imaginations have run as wild as the wind with chasing giants, fairy footsteps, galloping unicorns and those ever reliable super heroes saving the day. Shops have opened up, hoola hoopers and skippers have enhanced their skills. Games of tig, D to D, tennis and football have kept the children energised, ready for the afternoons learning. Whatever the children have got up to, they have done it with love, kindness and compassion.

Sporting activities this week have included an array of ball skills. Throwing, catching, handball and dodgeball has had the children dodging here, there and every where! The children’s agility is quite something to watch as they duck and dive for the ball!
