Reading

Please continue to read everyday - we have a chart mapping the child’s progress on their half termly targets - 24 children are on the go. The other children have not yet quizzed on their books. It is super important that they quiz in the next few days. Please read every night- check the progress on the book they are ready. Help them along - reading together, listening taking a page each. Every day reading routines win the day!

History/English

I have set you writing task in your 2do’s - I have recorded my instructions for you to hear. Imagine you have travelled back in time and you have visited the Agora at the foot of the Acropolis! Write a postcard back to me describing all the sights and sounds describe what the people are doing and how you feel!

Spelling

You have your homework book this week! You could draft your postcard before you write and you can practice your spelling in your book too. I have attached a guide to different ways to learn your spelling below. We start with the silent letter b!
