All you need to know about our swimming lessons:

Lesson starts at 9am in the pool - we must be promptly away - I cannot wait for any late children- sorry.

Whole class to come to school every Thursday morning for the first gate opening time of 8:40 (your usual gate)

The children will come into class- register - and immediately walk with their teachers to the coach.

All children need a towel and plastic bag into which they can place their wet costume and towel after -before putting it back into their rucksack (bag remains dry)

Girls will require swimming suits (no bikini or tankinis)

Boys require swimming trunks (not shorts).

Really substantial snack for our return - swimming can make us very hungry and a good breakfast goes without saying

Children with long hair have to wear a swim cap - which needs to be worn to school

No money - we are the only people in the changing area so the lockers are not locked

Children will come straight out of the pool to change - no toiletries are required. We return to school for play at 10:20am.

Inhalers handed to Mrs Hotchkiss (if they are in school I will retrieve them to take to the side of the pool)

Goggles may be worn - but a goggle permission letter is required - I will send this before Thursday.

No Jewelry - ideally to save time- all watches and earrings can be left at home on Thursdays

The first lesson is the assessment lesson so the children have to wait in turn. The other lessons involve swimming for the whole hour.
