Reading- PRIORITY
To read a minimum of 20 minutes a day at home. The children should all have a post it note in the back of their reading books. This is a target that they have set themselves of a date that they will finish their book with lots of learning points up for grabs.
Maths
Decimals to fractions- This week we introduced decimals and how they are similar to the fractions which they learnt in year 4. They will need to convert the decimals into fractions. E.g.
0.3 = 3/10
0.84 = 84/100
English
To correctly punctuate some given sentences, using capital letters, full stops and commas.
There are 2 sheets. The first sheet contains 10 sentences in which they have to re-write the sentence but with the correct punctuation. The same applies to the second sheet which has another 5 sentences on.
