At the very beginning of the pandemic in 2020. The Year 5 class had just performed for Shakespeare Festival at The Grand In Blackpool. We came together with 15 other schools to put on “Taming of the Shrew”.. Last year the children studied Hamlet and A Midsummer Nights Dream - it was sad we were unable to be with others although the plays are wonderful to explore.

This year the Royal Shakespeare Company was back with us training the teachers and inspiring the children as we aimed to come together to perform “Much A Do About Nothing”. We are in rehearsals - getting familiar with the characters, plot and themes! Love and jealousy is in the air!! Below are images of us rehearsing in class
