READING
I will be able to share with you reading progress on Friday at our Parents Meetings. We have a small group of children chasing their half term target.
I have noticed over the half term that some children leave their books infrequently at school. At the end of the day we have a motto - BOOK, BAG and BOTTLE. If you find one of these items missing please don’t hesitate to send your child back - to pick it up. If we keep practicing the brain will remember- neuroplasticity!!
HANDWRITING
So excited to see joined up writing appearing in our subject books. It is harder and can make your hand ache - once again though- with practice the brain and the hand master the skill and your handwriting become more fluid! This week the zig zag letters.
MATHS
Keep your NUMBOTS GOING!! A little frequently is the best way to keep your number facts at your fingertips!

Next week there will be no set homework for the half term holiday. We ask that you continue to read everyday and we’ll ensure a fresh book comes home on Thursday. I’m looking forward to speaking to you this Friday!
Final chance to complete one of the optional tasks as they will be changing after half term
