Polite notice:
Please hand in homework on Monday - I have many roles in school and I dedicate time on Mondays to mark and set homework. When is this spills into others days my attention and time becomes shared. This is really appreciated.
READING
Please read daily - there is no greater gift than this.
New targets have been set and the astronauts have set off in class - these little characters charter our progress. We will do our very best to ensure everyone is quizzing and changing regularly.
HANDWRITING and HOW OUR BOOK LOOKS
Thank you for supporting the children with this vital weekly practice. We practice in class too and I’m excited about you seeing the children books - here you can see how they are beginning to apply these important skills. Please watch the film.
LEARNING LINES FOR THE PLAY - SCRIPT IN YOUR CHILD’S BAG
The Nativity becomes our priority. Every child has received their part today. They each have a script. On the front of the script it has their name and the characters name. Please spend time this week highlighting their part for them. Keep this copy at home safe - use it as part of your weekly homework routine. It is essential that they learn their lines.
The children can’t understand stage directions and read from a script at the same time - they need to know what they are saying first.
Because this is so essential - I am taking Numbots off the homework for the time being so that you can all learn and know your lines - Thank you.
Below is a copy of the script - if you need to re-print. There may be changes as we go - I need to be flexible with the process - Thank you!!!
