Dear Year 2 children and parents,
We come to the end of this learning journey together. I would firstly like to thank you the parents, your children are special beyond measure and I have loved getting to know them - it has been fun.
Secondly to you children, you have all worked so incredibly hard and that is so very important. But what is more important is that you do it alongside others. You have journeyed with your friends, you have been loving and kind to one another in everyway imaginable and it has been a joy to be your teacher.
I have been teaching for a rather long time now, and I have so longed to teach in KS1. I came into your class nervous and apprehensive, your loving embrace and excitement to learn put me right at ease. You will never know just how much I have learnt from you all this year. Many people talk about teachers imparting knowledge but little do they know that the real learners are the teachers. You, the pupils, help us to see everyday just what needs to be said or explained and how to love unconditionally. What a gift it is to be a teacher.
Mrs Maano, Mrs Johnson and I wish you all the very best holiday.
God Bless always
SO MANY MAGIC MOMENTS
Dear children you are now ready to fly into the Juniors!
LET’S CELEBRATE
The children were given a top secret mission this week. They had to nominate their own certificate winners. They thought hard about who they felt should be rewarded for their learning, friendship, creativity and listening. The children wrote lovely things about one another and it is clear they value each other deeply.
Firstly- Isla. The class said the following. “ You always do the things we need to do immediately. You are always trying to do everything better each day. You are smart and listen to every word the teacher says. You are kind and a class star!”
Secondly - Jack the class said the following. “ Jack you are kind all the time. When the “ear” goes up in class you stop and fold your arms, you have good manners. You sit smartly and listen carefully to the teacher. The teacher does not have to ask you to be ready you are always ready!.
Finally Jacob- your class said the following “ You have improved your handwriting and it is lovely and cursive. You are so resilient and kind. You are a great friend!”

On a final note. I have been overwhelmed with your generosity and kindness. The little film below touched me beyond measure. Your gifts - too much. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Have the best holiday!
