I think you will all agree that the past two days have been simply spectacular! On the blog on Friday, I will add some more photos of the cast.
Here is some information that you will need for the next two days:
Tomorrow’s Leavers Trip
The children can come into school in their own clothes tomorrow, but sensible clothes for the lake and the beach. Comfy walking shoes are a must as we will be walking from school and back again. The children need a small backpack, water bottle, snack and sun cream. It is supposed to be warm tomorrow so a hat would also be recommended. After golf, we will be having fish and chips before heading down to the beach and having an ice-cream. We will be back to school for normal time.
Friday
As it is the children’s final day in school, please do drop them off if you can. It is a lovely memory to have. We will be encouraging Year 6 parents to walk the children to their classrooms for the final time, they don’t need to be dropped off at the gate. If you want to make your way to Kenilworth Road, that would be the best gate to come to. The children can also bring in with them a white school polo shirt to be signed, not the one that they are wearing, but an additional one to be signed. School closes at 2pm, but we would like you to come and get your children at 2.10pm. Once the playground has cleared the children can come out and have some time with you and each other on the playground. Photos can be taken and their time at primary school celebrated.
I know many of you have been asking after Mrs Harrison, the children certainly have! Mrs Harrison is fine, she is well but she just needs to be with her family at the moment due to an illness there. She is desperate to get in and see the children and if she can she will. Please know that there is nothing more than she wants at this moment. Thank you all for your best wishes for her. She really does appreciate it.
