And as if by magic, we have arrived at the end of the school year. We cannot believe how quickly time has flown, but they do say, time flies when you’re having fun! What an absolute pleasure it has been, to be with the children during their lunch time. The staff have been truly humbled by the kindness, empathy, love and understanding shown to one another, at a time where they can just be. We have watched as friendships blossom, new and old, with the strongest bonds formed. The school community evolve as a family and collectively develop the school grounds.
There have been unicorns galloping, super hero’s saving the day, shop keepers selling their wares. Skippers skipping, hop scotchers leaping and gallant warriors defending the castle. The playground has been awash with and array of colours over the year, from red, white and blue to a sea of green. Peers playing together, with the occasional treat of the older playing with the younger. However the children have spent their lunchtimes, they have done do with a smile on their faces and laughter ringing out in the air.
This time of year is always bitter sweet. Although we know the Year 6 children are ready to go off and experience new adventures, It is always a sad ti e as we say goodbye.
Children it has been a an absolute pleasure and a joy to watch you grow, not only in stature, but in maturity and love. We wish you all the very best in your new schools and know that. we will miss you very much and will always hold those memories close.
We hope you all have a fantastic summer holiday, take care and we will see you all in September!
God Bless
The Lunchtime Team
