"Life itself is your teacher, and you are in a state of constant learning."-Bruce Lee

With every moment of lunch time, we discover, recreate and make new experiences. This week has certainly been a week full of imagination, determination and laughter. We have braved the elements to get as much fresh air as possible, although on Tuesday, we did admit defeat as the rain just kept on coming.

Through both keystages, we have heard tales of the big bad wolf returning to the playground. Year 5 entertained us with a “Year Five’s Got Talent” competition. Purple Mashers have started a new challenge set by Mrs Gregan, of which they are all fully engrossed in. The Librarians are reading a novel with each of the classes. I had the pleasure of listening to a snapshot of “The Twits” today as Year 3 enjoyed their club time.

Mr Nay has been running a selection of activities throughout the week. Handball has been a popular activity with the children, along with hockey and fundamental skills.

This term, we are looking to be eco friendly within the dining hall. We are asking for all packed lunch children to recycle their empty crisp packets. The will go off to Blackpool Zoo to be melted down and recycled into new items. We would be very grateful for any crisp bags you may have at home as well.
