"Friendship is like a beautiful garden, the more you put into it the more it grows."

Another week of learning, fun and friendship has gone by in a flash and what a busy week it has been!

Miss Lavelle was on a secret mission this week to spot great friends in our class, I think you’ll agree the evidence is clear we are trying our best to be great friends every day…

We have had a busy week of learning and growing our brains.

After being introduced to Sadie Spider last week the children had lots of questions and thoughts about spiders, so we decided to learn all about them this week. We know sixteen facts about spiders and used some spider books to find the information. We had fun building giant webs and creating our own spider characters, we hope you enjoy meeting them…

This week we listened to the story of ‘The Very Busy Spider’ by Eric Carle. We made a story map and used actions to tell the story, we look forward to sharing this with you next week!

In Maths we have been exploring number 5, and discover which numbers we can use to make 5. We counted jumps, and beats of musical instruments.

Let’s Celebrate

This week we have two Co-operative Rodger Robins, thank you both for being great team members of our class.

Heath - For listening carefully to others and sharing his own ideas and supporting other children if they feel sad.

Isaac - For making choices that show you are a caring friend and being a fantastic team player at tidy up time.

Important Notices

Homework - Thanks you again for all your wonderful emails and pictures in books you sent in, the children were so excited to tell me what they had been doing at home. Please return the folders by Wednesday 9th, and most importantly of all, have some fun!

Have a brilliant weekend,

Miss Lavelle, Miss Neves and Barbara
