This week’s spellings are to be practised on the Look Say Cover sheet and have the -tch trigraph. The children will be quizzed on Thursday.

Watch the opening scene from Thomas the Tank Engine. Can you spot the engine names and write a list of them in your books? Remember capital letters for names!

For an extra challenge, what do you think our Class Train should be called? e.g. I think the train is called the Clive because it has a cheeky round face and it is red. Practise saying your sentence and then have a go at writing it in your books.
