Geography.

This week, we have learned about BIOMES - (areas around the world which have a certain landscape, climate, plants and animals which live there.) You did some research in class on one biome with your partner. Choose a different biome from the one you did in class - (see below) and do a research page in your homework book.

On one page - draw the biome

On the page next to it - research and explain What is the landscape like? What is the climate like? (eg amount of rain, average winter temperature) Which plants are found there? Which animals are found there?

Reading

We are climbing our seed target wall at school! Some of you have special ‘ Mrs Lyons targets stuck to the front of your reading book! Please read for at least 20 minutes a day at home. Always remember to ask grown ups if there are words you do not know the meaning of. Aim to read fluently with an interesting voice!
