This week, the Eco Team were back out serving the community cleaning the beach surrounding the pier. We were very fortunate to have our Year 2 partners join us with this event, along with a group of wonderful, willing parents to aid us in our task and what a team they were! The children were amazed at the types of micro plastics they found. Micro plastics are particularly dangerous to marine life, as they are easier to swallow, thus putting them in danger. The children and adults worked so hard within their groups collecting all and sundry that had been left on our beach.

I would like to thank the Fylde Coast Randers for their, knowledge, expertise and support. Also, thank you to our wonderful parents, who gave up their time to join us and support our children. It made the afternoon feel so special and proud to to be part of our community. Thank you once again.
