here have been 30 Kiki Chameleons in school this week! Curious, inquisitive and very creative! The children created their own monsters and described them with brilliant adjectives.

What a fantastic start to they year we have had in year 1! It was so wonderful to open the door to 30 smiley faces on Monday morning. The children have all returned bright eyed and ready to learn and this week we have learned LOADS!

The past week has been jam packed with history learning, Christmas festivities and excitement! We have been doing History all week and the children have been so enthusiastic

I am so proud of all of the children for their fantastic nativity performances. They were all enthusiastic Bobby Bee’s, in every performance. Thank you so much to everyone who came to watch them, the children loved seeing your smiley faces in the audience.

his week the children have been very busy practising for their Nativity next week. They are so excited to share with you, the greatest story ever told! We have also been reflecting on our Advent promises and what a special time of the year Advent is.

It’s been another busy week of learning in Year 1! I’ve been so proud of the children who haven’t been feeling 100% but have been full of enthusiasm for learning nonetheless.

Last week the children recieved a letter from Mr Green, the manager of a local supermarket in St. Annes. Mr Green asked for year 1’s help; an army of evil peas were causing chaos in the supermarket

What a wonderful week! I must start by saying how PROUD I am of all of the children in year 1. They were all superstars in our assembly. They delivered their lines with buckets of enthusiasm and huge smiles.

This week in year 1, the Evil Pea has been on the loose and he is causing chaos! On Monday morning, the children entered the classroom to find that the Evil Pea had tormented more fruit and vegetables.

What a wonderful week of learning we have had in year 1! All of the children have come back to school well-rested and eager to learn, with big smiles on their faces.

This week has been bursting with learning! In science, the children have been sense detectives! Using their 5 senses, they were able to identify a missing teddy bear using the clues provided.

We have had such a super week of learning in year 1. The children have learned with such enthusiasm and have once again made the classroom a positive and magical place to learn.

What a beautiful week of learning we have had in Year 1. Each day the children have grown in confidence and enthusiasm and I have seen so many acts of pure kindness. The support the children give to one another is so heart warming!

Our week in year 1 has been full of exciting learning; there have been 30 curious Clara clownfish in school each day. The children have been so brilliant at asking questions and challenging their own thinking, in order to better understand.

We have had another incredible week of learning in Year 1. Once again I have opened the door to 30 happy faces everyday  - what a wonderful way to start our learning each day!

The first week in year 1 has flown by! The children have settled in beautifully and it has been so wonderful to open the classroom door to 30 smiles each day. I am so excited for the learning adventure we have ahead of us.

What a wonderful first day we have had in Year 1! I have loved hearing all about the children’s summer holiday adventures – they sound like they have been fun-filled, with bundles of precious family time.
