Week two has passed so quickly, there is a definite buzz around school as children discover more about their topics and about themselves.

Welcome back after the half term break, a week to refresh and renew. The children have come back with their positive attitudes and a thirst for fun and knowledge. Even the rain can’t hold us back!

With only one week until our half term break, we are squeezing every ounce of learning into our school days. The days are lighter, the evenings shorter, even the golden daffodils are making an appearance Spring is on it’s way…

How is time moving so quickly? The days , weeks and months fly by so fast at Our Lady’s, but they do say, ‘Time flies when you’re having fun!’.

Another week over, gone in the blink of an eye, at least that is what it feels like. We are already half way through this half term, absorbing knowledge, questioning and making sense of it all. I would love to have been back at school, our school, with all the amazing opportunities we have now.

It feels as if we have never been away. Life at Our Lady’s school is so fast paced and exciting, we squeeze every drop of our day into our learning, and we have only been back two weeks.

Happy New Year to you all. I hope you had a wonderful time with your families over the Christmas break? Everyone has come back to school refreshed and with a spring in their step, I have heard lovely stories of your times over the holidays.

With only one week until we break up for Christmas, the excitement is everywhere. This week we were treated to KS1’s Nativity and KS2 have been perfecting their songs and scriptures for us in church this coming Tuesday.

With only two weeks left until we break up for Christmas, we are practising Nativities and a carol service on top of all our wonderful learning. The school is truly a magical place to be, just ask the children!

Where have the weeks gone? Time, literally is flying by! Excitement is growing as trees are being put up at home and Christmas lists are written. The KS1 and Foundation classes are busy learning lines and practising their Nativity parts. It is indeed beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

What a week! Things are at full speed now as we prepare for the festive weeks ahead. Last night saw our Maths Mastery curriculum evening, it was so lovely to meet new parents and catch up with parents that have been with us for a while. Past pupils came for a reminisce and our wonderful children showed everyone what a fantastic school we have…

The weeks are slipping by and Christmas is fast approaching… School is in full swing, a hive of activity.

Welcome back after our lovely Autumn break. The weather was kind to us, if not a little chilly. We now have eight weeks to fill with fun and laughter, not forgetting lots of fabulous learning too.

We have arrived at the end of our first half term and what a busy one it has been. We have just over a week to rest, recharge our batteries and get ready for another. Leading up to Christmas is always a wonderful time of the school year, we really wouldn’t want anyone to miss a second.

Week Six

With only three days left until our Half term holiday, we are all busy, squeezing in every last morsel of learning in this half term’s topics. Unfortunately the weather has battled with us this week but wet play books and games have saved the days.

The hustle and bustle around school is thrilling, assemblies, sports, choir and dance troops in the hall, children making the most out of every opportunity.
