Greetings Year 5!! It is lovely to welcome parents and children's to the Upper Junior department!

What a joy it is to explore a Shakespeare play with children!!! We have had so much fun this week in class and in the forest beyond the field! We started by exploring power and status before we went through the whole play on Tuesday- this is called a “swoosh” were we understand who is who and the plot! We have invented some pretty scary fairies and today we explored how the four worlds in this play collide! Great fun so much creativity!

We have investigated peer pressure over the past two RHE (relationship and health education) lessons. It has allowed us to really explore what good and bad pressure is!

We had a lovely lesson today (Friday). We were reflecting on how we speak to God. We practiced listening to others before we spoke privately to God - allowing him to listen. We then spoke about a vocation and that God calls us to him.

Dear parents, thank you for all your support this half term. I have written an extended blog today - it has some very important messages about playing online and they come from the children themselves.

Thank you everyone for meeting this week virtually. If there is one thing missing from this year -it is the small conversations/nods we are usually able to have on a daily bases. Even though we haven’t seen a lot of one another, we have managed to communicate via email, but it was good to talk!

We may have lost a Monday this week - but we certainly made up the time!!!! We have packed in sooo much!
